To all residents:

The Village continues to make efforts to address drainage issues in the Village--especially in light of the new pattern of heavier rainfalls.  We have already concluded a number of major upgrades.

To the residents of Cornwells Beach Rd (“CBR”) and surrounding streets:

The Village will begin work on additional drainage solutions for CBR beginning this coming Tues, 8/27 (weather permitting) with the installation of storm drains.

The work will pause for the Labor Day weekend.

Then continue with the installation of the associated drywells later in September.

These Village Engineer approved plans are designed to catch runoff from Barkers Point Rd and reduce flooding at the low point on CBR.

We do not expect any disruptions to traffic flow.
