Monopole Update--as of last evening
Residents, Good morning—some good news on a beautiful, snowy Sunday in Sands Point! As shared with you, the cell monopole on the Village Club campus, which hosted Verizon and T-Mobile, physically snapped in half and collapsed, unexpectedly, on Friday night, taking down those cell services in the area. I am glad to report that by 6 pm last night, less than 24 hours after failing, we were able to arrange for a restoration of service (Verizon only) with the deployment of a mob

Update on Collapsed Cellular Monopole at Village Club
Residents, As I shared with you last evening, the 110’ tall monopole at the Village Club (near tennis and 4 th hole), which serves the Club, Harbor Acres, Forest Drive areas, and that portion of Middle Neck Road, was at risk of structural failure. Recent loss of trees on HAR
Dear Residents, The Board of Trustees knows how important the natural beauty of our community is to everyone, and we know that the recent removal of several trees may have been surprising and disappointing to see. Please know this decision by Code Enforcement was not made lightly.
